What if God puts that person in your life, to been in love with, to help them to get to know Him? That's just what i think is possible. If they are taking you away from God then it's best not to be with them but it doesn't mean a person shouldn't try to help them to get to know God. It goes both ways.
Answer:
I never said you shouldn’t try to bring them to God. Because you should always be trying to witness and bring non believers to Christ. But you should do that outside of a romantic-like relationship. Be their friend, be their support. Bring them to church, share your testimony. But you can do all of that without being their boyfriend/girlfriend. God very well may have put them in your life so you can help them come to Him, but He wants you to help them first, and when you guys are on the same page spiritually, then you can date. But until they accept God as their Savior, you should not enter a dating relationship with them.
