badwolfcomplex asked: Re: Anon who asked about dating non-Christians: 1 Corinthians 6:12-16, especially. v. 14. I don't think it's fair to say "no" without qualification. Of course growing closer to Christ should be each individual's priority, which some relationships (of any kind) or activities can hinder, but that doesn't mean it's always and everywhere wrong to date a non-Christian. Personally, I've seen a couple of "mixed" relationships turn out for the better, for both parties. Just something to consider. :)

Answer:

None really that I’ve seen. I have personal experience with this. Earlier in my life, I was in several relationships with non believers, and I can say without a doubt that those are the times where I’ve been the farthest from God. Your significant other is supposed to be someone you can share everything with: everything you do, everything you love, everything you are. If you define yourself in God, but can’t share that with them, how is that relationship supposed to be as whole as it can be? How are you two supposed to be one?

I’m not trying to hurt anyone’s feelings, I hope I’m not.
